The Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum has asked its visitors to share their views on:

“What does a good future in Gqeberha require?”

And approximately 140 public contributions were collected at the time I took the picture.

In summary, a good future in Gqeberha is understood as one built on:

* Ethical, accountable, and functional governance

* Strong social cohesion grounded in Ubuntu

* Inclusive economic participation and meaningful work

* Safe communities free from crime and gender-based violence

* Cultural and aesthetic renewal through art and public expression

At its core, the vision is not technical. It is ethical and relational.

I can’t wait to see what becomes of this wall.
